Zookeeper Week II
Available spots
Service Description
Being a zookeeper is all fun and games until you have to pick up animal poop constantly! If that doesn't deter your child from this career path, then sign them up for Zookeeper Week II! This week, campers will focus on the ins and outs of being a zookeeper, how to grow in this profession, the different aspects of a zoo and how it operates, and more. They will also delve deeper into husbandry, enrichment, diets, grooming, training, and keeper talks. With plenty of games, crafts, animal care, and hands-on animal interaction, this week of camp will equip your child with the tools they need to nurture their passion for animals! Additionally, this week will feature a guest speaker, a real zookeeper, who will share their zoo experience. Please check out the prerequisites for this camp below if you are interested in registering your child. * To participate in Vet Week II or Zookeeper Week II, campers must attend at least one other week of camp to be familiar with our facility and animals. These advanced camps require prior experience to fully engage in hands-on activities. Thank you for understanding! NOTE: You must complete a separate booking for each child. Your booking form should automatically populate after completing the first form. To that end, simply overwrite the child information on each subsequent form, leaving any information in place that remains the same.
