Our Party Packages
Ready to plan the ultimate birthday bash at the Barn Nature Center? To book a Birthday Party, please choose from the packages below, ideally two months in advance of your requested date. Upon checkout, you will be presented with the Birthday Contract and Waiver to acknowledge. Our team will review your party and ensure everything is in place for a seamless celebration. If you need extra staff or time, please let us know and we can make appropriate arrangements.

How do I book a party at the Barn Nature Center?Contact the Barn Nature Center Office team at barnnaturecenter@bncfoundation.org or via phone at 445-205-0793 to initiate the booking process.

How does the booking process work?Bookings are online. The party host picks the package based on the number of children that will attend the party. There are arts and crafts as add-ons or you can bring your own. For additional staff to help with your own crafts or to add time to your party, email barnnaturecenter@bncfoundation.org.

How far in advance should I book my party?We recommend booking at least 2 months in advance to secure your preferred date.

Can I change the party package after booking?Packages can be changed after booking, but changes must be finalized at least 2 weeks prior to the event date. Changes made after this point will incur a $50 late change fee.

What are your party availability hours?Parties can be hosted any time! Weekend parties are hosted on Friday evenings, Saturdays (morning, afternoon, or evening), and Sundays (morning, afternoon, or evening). Inquire about Weeknight parties Monday-Thursday. Our morning parties typically start at 11, afternoon parties between 2 and evening parties between 5 and 6. Evening parties on the weekends are considered a special request and will require you to email regarding availability to barnnaturecenter@bncfoundation.org. The exact timing can be flexible based on staffing!

Can I adjust the length of the party?Yes, time lengths are typically per our recommendation but can be decreased or increased upon request. Additional time can also be booked as an add-on.

When is the payment due?Final payment is due upon booking, and can be paid via cash, check, Venmo, or credit card (with a 3.5% processing fee). Changes to the party contract must occur 2 weeks prior to the party date.

What happens if I need to make changes within 2 weeks of the event?Changes within 2 weeks may incur a $50 late booking change fee, in addition to the new package price, as we may need to adjust staffing accordingly.

When can the host family arrive?Host families may arrive up to 20 minutes prior to the party start time to set things up.

Can I bring my own decorations?Absolutely! Our party room does come pre-decorated with beautiful nature murals, life-size animal statues, and party banners, and we provide table cloths, cutlery, serving utensils, plates, bowls, and napkins. However, you're more than welcome to bring your own decorations, tablecloths, utensils, etc. if you desire.

What add-ons are available for birthday parties?We offer various add-ons to enhance your birthday party experience, including extra time in the party room, staff facilitation for activities, craft activities provided by BNC, Barn Nature Center Bingo, and party favors such as coloring books and bird feathers. Crafts can be found on the booking page and the charges are based on the party size.

Can I bring in [my own craft/a piñata/face painters/princesses/other attractions]?Yes! Feel free to bring in your own crafts, piñatas, face painters, princesses, or other attractions. Just be sure to coordinate timing accordingly! If you want to have our staff assist with your craft or you believe you will need more than an hour in the party room, please contact barnnaturecenter@bncfoundation.org. Additional staff and adding on time are an extra cost and where possible, we will accommodate your party.
