Join us at Tegu Time: Pearl's Birthday Bash to celebrate the 4th birthday of our Argentine Black and White Tegu, Pearl! Enjoy exciting activities like a scavenger hunt, field games, and a thrilling cupcake decorating competition with fantastic prizes! Guided Tours: Memorial DayDate: TBA
Join us this Memorial Day at the Barn Nature Center! Each Guided Tour includes a trained staff member taking you throughout the center while getting to learn about, touch, hold, and even feed our wonderful animal friends. Each tour lasts an hour and must have at least five (5) individuals registered to run. Tours are not private and guests are able to register for the time slots that suit their needs. Tickets are $10 per individual and individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. |
Mr. Beaks Birthday Bash Guided ToursDate: TBA
Happy Birthday to our beautiful Blue and Gold Macaw, Mr. Beaks! He is turning 12 and is inviting you all to his birthday celebration! Come fly to the Barn Nature Center to join us for a Guided Tour. This includes trained staff members taking you throughout our facility to educate you on our unique exotic animals while also giving you the opportunity to touch, hold, and even feed them! Each tour lasts an hour and must have at least ten (10) individuals attending to run. Tours are not private and guests are able to register for the time slots that suit their needs. Tickets are $12 per individual and individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Involve your friends and family to make his birthday bash a blast! |

Boo at the BarnDate: TBA
Boo at the Barn is our annual Trick-or-Treating event at the Nature Center, fun for the whole family! It includes craft activities, seasonal games, light refreshments, a costume contest, skull identification and of course live animal encounters! We ask for a $18 donation per child, $13 per adult. Come in costume and fill your bag with candy! |

Holiday FUNdraiserDate: TBA
Join us for our annual Holiday Celebration and Fundraising event for the Barn Nature Center! We are a tax exempt 501c3 non-profit organization so proceeds from this event and others we host, along with any gifts or donations made, help to fund and run our nature center and programming! This night of FUN will include Hands-on animal interactions, a cookie decorating contest, a naming contest for our new animal, photos with Santa and animals, crafts, games and refreshments! Get to feed animals and make them enrichment gifts! |
Feeding FrenzyDate: TBA
Did you know a snake can swallow its prey whole? Join us for Feeding Frenzy and explore the world of taste! With this open house style event, attendees get to watch and assist in a live reptile feeding show and even test their own sense of taste with refreshments. To meet demand we will be hosting two live feeding shows, the first at 5:30pm and the second at 7:00pm with time to interact with the nature center inhabitants before and after. Be sure to arrive at the entrance time for your registered ticket to experience the event fully! |

Annual Egg HuntDate: TBA
Spring is right around the corner which means our Annual Egg Hunt is too! This Open-House style event will feature a bunny photo both, an egg decorating contest, a visit with many of our egg laying animals, refreshments, and of course a hunt for eggs. We will be holding this event rain or shine, the egg hunt will begin at 11:45am. *Bring your own basket to collect eggs at the hunt* |

Toddler TimeToddler Time is a Mommy or Daddy (or grandparent) and toddler class especially designed for children ages 1-5 years old. Having the opportunity to get up close and personal with our animals at the Barn Nature Center is sure to nurture your child’s natural curiosity and respect for the living world. This class is regularly scheduled every Tuesday and Friday at 10am, however dates may vary.

WorkshopsLooking for something for your child to do on days of from school?
Send your 1st-6th grader to the Barn Nature Center for a FUN and EDUCATIONAL workshop that will provide them with unique learning experiences. |
Summer CampsJoin us this Summer!
This year we are offering 6 weeks of summer camps! Send your child to spend the week with us for an experience they will never forget! Learn what it takes to be a Zookeeper or a Veterinarian, play games, complete team building exercises, explore nature, learn all about the world of senses, practice survival skills and so much more! |

Guided ToursReserve your guided tour with one of our trained staff! Tours are about an hour long, and include feeding and handling the animals. We ask for a $12 donation per person, with a $60 minimum.
