Internships at the Barn Nature Center

If you're looking for a college internship working with animals in Bucks County, consider applying to the Barn Nature Center, an educational sanctuary for rescued exotic animals. Become an essential part of our mission to provide the best quality of life for our animal residents. We have hosted many interns from Delaware Valley University, several of whom have even come on as stipended Trainees when their internship ended. As a vital member of our non-profit organization, interns play a crucial role, gaining valuable hands-on experience across various fields such as zoology, wildlife science, animal science, education, wildlife conservation, communications, and public relations.

Our flexible internship program offers opportunities throughout the year, including Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter terms. To ensure a meaningful experience, we request interns to commit to a minimum 3-month term, with at least one weekly shift. This commitment allows for comprehensive training and an immersive understanding of our operations.

Ready to make a positive impact? Apply now by sending your resume and application to BNCEducationProgram@gmail.com. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our animal ambassadors and promoting education and conservation within our community!
